Abstract

This founding editorial introduces the Journal of Sustainable Finance and Business Innovation (JSFBI) and outlines its intellectual vision, scope, and scholarly positioning. The journal is established in response to the growing need for integrated research that connects sustainable finance, accounting, business innovation, and digital transformation. JSFBI aims to provide a rigorous and interdisciplinary platform for theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented studies examining how sustainability-driven financial practices and innovation-oriented strategies influence organisational performance, governance quality, and long-term value creation. Adopting a global perspective, the journal welcomes contributions from both developed and emerging economies and encourages methodologically diverse research with clear theoretical and practical implications.
