About the Journal

The Journal of Sustainable Finance and Business Innovation (JSFBI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that examines the roles of finance, accounting, and business innovation in advancing sustainable and resilient economic systems. The journal provides an interdisciplinary forum for empirical, theoretical, and policy-oriented studies that address contemporary challenges faced by organisations, financial markets, and policymakers in the context of sustainability and innovation.

JSFBI publishes research with relevance to both emerging and developed economies and encourages contributions that are sensitive to institutional, regulatory, and socio-economic contexts. The journal seeks to bridge academic research and professional practice by disseminating insights that inform scholarly debate, managerial decision-making, regulatory design, and public policy related to sustainable finance and innovation-driven business models.

JSFBI operates a double-blind peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial office and, if deemed suitable, are reviewed by at least two independent expert reviewers. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to ensure objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity, in line with recognised international publishing standards.

JSFBI is published on a  biannual basis, with four issues released each year in March, June, September, and December. The journal is committed to ethical publishing practices, editorial independence, and academic transparency. It serves a global audience of researchers, academics, policymakers, regulators, and practitioners with an interest in sustainable finance, accounting, governance, and business innovation.
